Frequently Asked Questions:

Newborn Questions:
Q. When is the best time to get newborn photos done:
A. The best time is 1-9 days old. They are still new, curly and sleep the best.

Q. What should I bring for my newborn to wear?
A. Nothing. Newborns are the cutest when they are just bear. I supply hats, diaper covers and cute props. I am always open to ideas.

Q. Where is the newborn session held?
A. I prefer to shoot natural light with babies which means shooting in the comfort of your home if you have the space near a big bright window. If you do not have the space then it will be held at my studio.

Q. How long is a normal Newborn session?
A. A newborn Session runs from about 2 hours to 4 hours. Depending on how well the newborn sleeps.



Sessions:

Q. What do we wear?
A. I suggest clothing that isn't to matchy matchy. Stay away from white and big logos. Try to make sure all colors go together. Jeans are always good because you can dress them up or down.

Q. How long is a normal session run?
A. A normal session can go from 1 - 2 hours long. Depending on the amount of people in the photo and different poses.

Q. Can I bring my own props?
A. YES! I encourage have your child show what they are into at this time. Examples: Skateboards, Rain boots, Wagons, Baseball...

Q. Do you have props that you supply?
A. I have a variety of props. I can discuss more with you when booking your session



Products:

Q. How many photos will be in my gallery?
A. Your session gallery will show case a little as 20 photos up to 30 depending how the session goes.

Q. What is on the CD?
A. The CD will come with all the color images and B&W conversion

Q. Is the CD Hi-Res?
A. Yes

Q. Does the CD come with a print release?
A. Yes. It is printed right on the CD for your convenience.


Random:

Q. What do we do if it rains?
A. We can Res to another day. If that doesn't work we can find a covered location. Or move it indoors to a studio location.

Q. Why is there a session fee?
A. The session fee covers my time, talent and proofing of your images.

Q. Is there a deposit required?
A. I require half of your session fee at the time of booking. ( this non refundable )
The remaining balance of the session fee is due at the time of your session.

Q. How long does it take to view my photos?
A. Your gallery will be up for view with in 2 weeks of your session unless I tell you other wise.

Q. How long is my gallery up?
A. Your gallery will be online for 20 days. If you would like to keep it up longer there is a $20 charge for an additional 20 days.

Q. How long does it take to get my photos back once my order has been placed.
A. Depending on the product. 1- 2 weeks. Gallery portraits and specialty products do take longer.

Q. Do you offer business head shots?
A. Yes I do. You get a 20 min session for $100. You get 2-5 image Hi Res CD w/ release.

Q. How many images do you take during a session?
A. I take anywhere from 50- 150 then I narrow it down to 20-30 for your gallery.
